U is for Understanding

I wish there was a little less judging and a little more understanding going on in the world right now.

Everyone struggles with something. Some you can see; others aren’t so obvious.

The truth is that you can’t really understand what someone else is going through no matter how hard you try. You can’t really walk in someone else’s shoes. Their triumphs and defeats are theirs alone along with their strengths and weaknesses. You can listen, but you end up blending what you hear with your own experiences; it’s just not the same. Return to the beginning of this paragraph and repeat.

So, I wish there was a little less judging going on in the world right now.
